Less Hassle
We want to make getting gigs one of the easiest and most straightforward thing in your life. This includes all the business aspects like marketing, contracting, payment, etc. Once you have onboarded with us, we’ll regularly query you about potential gigs and you have the power to accept or deny whatever you want! Once you accept, we’ll take care of the music and all the event details, so you can focus on what you do best, showing up and playing beautiful music
Advocacy
At Overtone, we take care of our musicians. We are in your corner. That means our top priority is making sure you’re cared for at every gig you play. If you have concerns or requests concerning an event, we will advocate for you! When playing outdoor weddings, we put into our contracts that musicians always have a right to not play if the weather is threatening to their instruments. In this and many other ways, we will look out for you
Payment
We know you didn’t get into this industry to be lowballed in pay. As musicians, we’ve already played too many free gigs for “exposure.” You deserve every penny you make playing a gig, and it is our desire to compensate you in the amount you deserve. We will always strive to give you market rates or better for your playing
Insurance
Insurance can be a hassle to get as well as to maintain. At Overtone, we are happy to provide services for you like purchasing insurance on your behalf. That way, you can play events knowing you are covered for a range of liability concerns
